Walking on Ice: Long winters were the greatest enemies of explorers searching for the Northwest Passage. On many occasions, they were so harsh and long that the ice that formed in the Arctic waters did not melt during the summer, forcing crews to decide whether to remain immobile for another year or to devote all their resources to breaking up the thick ice floes, with the risk that these efforts would be fruitless...

There was also a third, desperate possibility: to abandon the ships and continue on foot, either towards their final destination or towards southern lands that would allow them to save their lives. However, this had to be the last resort, as the bad weather that had rendered their ships useless would hit them hard during their long journey to safety, weakening them physically and psychologically... Furthermore, if they survived, the admirals would be court-martialed upon their return for abandoning the ships.

Inuit Mythology: Explorers and Ships: This is a module where explorers and their ships appear for the first time, enhancing the gaming experience. Two new Solo Modes:

Includes:

- Inuit Territory The crew is falling ill as we sail. Only the Inuit tribes in different areas are able to find solutions to heal the crew. These healing methods are varied: from feeding certain animals to the sick, to visiting distant Inuit on their own island to obtain home treatment. We must cross the Northwest Passage before the entire crew falls ill!

- Amundsen We are aboard the Gjøa, a small ship that will surely make it easier for us to cross the icy waters of the Arctic, although its size can also cause some problems: we have fewer supplies and less fuel capacity... We are under the command of explorer Roald Amundsen, a Norwegian with less experience in polar waters than other explorers who have previously perished pursuing the same goal. The crew knows this, and it's not good for morale! Let's hope that his discipline will guide us to the conquest of our goal: to be the first to cross the Northwest Passage by ship.

Rulebooks in German, Spanish, French, and English.
