And I’m not as kind as the one you’ve come to know.” Immortal Phoenix returns Marik’s most powerful monsters from the ashes, stronger than ever! Let the Great Beast of the Sky hear your cry! Marik’s Monsters – Reimagined! Sentence any foe you face to the torment of the Shadow Realm with 10 new “Sun God” cards! The Immortal Sun God focuses Ra’s powers of eternal rebirth into one Quick-Play Spell Card. This card allows you to Summon “The Winged Dragon of Ra” monsters, or discard “Sun God” cards to return The Immortal Sun God back to your hand. But most important of all, during each player’s End Phase, if The Immortal Sun God was sent to your Graveyard this turn – for ANY reason! – Ra’s powers of rebirth extend to your other “Sun God” monsters, letting you return Helpoemer, Chanter of the Sun God / Makyura, Destructor of the Sun God / Gil Garth, Exterminator of the Sun God / Viser Des Shock, Tormentor of the Sun God from your Graveyard back to your hand. These four diabolical monsters have all been reimagined with powerful effects centered around the “Sun God” Deck theme. And for the final blow, Marik’s most famous monsters of all have returned as Fusion Monsters: The Winged Dragon of Ra, Sun God of Darkness and Lava Golem, Steelcage of the Sun God! The first ever DIVINE and Divine-Beast Extra Deck monster, The Winged Dragon of Ra, Sun God of Darkness is unaffected by other cards’ effects, and lets you discard “Sun God” cards to eliminate your opponent’s monsters, as a Quick Effect. And since it is both a “Winged Dragon of Ra” card AND a “Sun God” card, it works with other cards that affect either of those monster groups. The strongest part of “Lava Golem” was that you could Tribute your opponent’s monsters to Special Summon it, and Lava Golem, Steelcage of the Sun God keeps up the heat, since two of its Fusion Materials are face-up monsters from anywhere on the field. This Fusion Monster lets you Summon it right out of the Extra Deck without even needing to use “Polymerization”, so its main advantage over the original “Lava Golem” is that you never have to draw anything in order to use it!  New Salamangreat Cards! Marik’s monsters aren’t the only place you can find some blazing beasts to burn your opponents to ash! Immortal Phoenix also contains new and revamped cards for Soulburner’s “Salamangreat” Deck. Watch your opponent’s plans go up in smoke with two new “Salamangreat” Main Deck monsters. Salamangreat Markhor grabs a “Salamangreat” Spell or Trap when Summoned, and Summons a FIRE Cyberse monster from your Deck when used as Link Material. Salamangreat Bastella is easy to Summon and can interfere with your opponent’s Level-dependent plans, and grab you an extra Trap on its way out. Step into a reimagined version of “Salamangreat Sanctuary”: The Salamangreat Shrine! It has the same effect that allows you to re-Link Summon your “Salamangreat” monsters, but it also shields your “Salamangreat” monsters from your opponent’s FIRE monster effects. And it lets you shuffle “Salamangreat” cards from your hand back into the Deck, to draw replacement cards. King of Beasts, Risen from the Valley of Flames is a reimagined “Salamangreat Heatleo” that is always treated as that monster. This Link-3 monster sets the field ablaze and turns everything into a FIRE monster – which combines with Salamangreat Shrine to snuff out all your opponent’s monster effects! It also keeps a variant of the original “Salamangreat Heatleo” effect, but now the change is permanent, the ability is a Quick Effect, AND you also get to shuffle an opponent’s card from the field into the Deck when you use it! Return to The White Forest! Get ready for the next chapter of the “Sinful Spoils” story, as we head into what is now the deep forest realm of the Winter Raven. Avoid getting lost by learning the forest’s secrets! Deep Forest of the Winter Raven is a Field Spell that grabs a “Winter Raven” monster from your Deck when activated, protects all “Winter Raven” monsters you control from being destroyed by card effects, and Sets a “Winter Raven” Trap from your Deck or Graveyard every turn. Sit down for some toasted apples! Purifire of the Winter Raven’s Forest can Summon itself if you control a “Winter Raven” card, and grabs a “Winter Raven” Spell/Trap or any “Sinful Spoils” card from your Deck, when Summoned. It can also rescue your monsters that have hidden in the Spell & Trap Zone, putting them back into play as monsters. Feel the thrill of the hunt as your pack grows! Mart, Knight of the Winter Raven can hide in the Spell & Trap Zone to Summon 2 “Winter Raven” monsters from your Deck, then have a hidden monster rejoin the battle if a monster attacks. Anu, Knight of the Winter Raven can Special Summon monsters from your hand, either by revealing itself in your hand, or by hiding a different monster in your Spell & Trap Zone. Sinful Spoils of the Winter Raven’s Forest is easy to Summon with the help of Purifire and has the power to hide monsters on the field or Graveyard in the Spell & Trap Zones. YOUR hidden monsters can find their way back, thanks to your other “Winter Raven” cards, but your opponent’s hidden monsters are probably lost in the snowstorm forever! However many Spells & Traps you control, Diabellze, Heiress of the Winter Raven’s Forest returns up to the same number of cards on the field to the owner’s hands, when Summoned. If you want to crank up that number, she can also hide monsters you control in the Spell & Trap Zone, first. More Knights! Zaltys, Knight of the Winter Raven and Aitvaras, Knight of the Winter Raven are Level 5 Synchro Monsters with different effects when they’re Summoned and when sent to the Graveyard. Plus additional cards! Enhance your “Winter Raven” Deck, or any Deck using the “Diabell” cards you already own! Orbital Onslaught In a booster set based on the God of the Sun, we’re also including the gods who protect the planets – the world premiere Celestigard! “Celestigard” monsters use the power of planetary alignments for Xyz Summoning: Celestigards can only be used as Xyz Material for Xyz Summons that use 3 or more materials. However, any Celestigard can make all the other Xyz Materials in that Xyz Summon match the Celestigard’s Level. (You’ll find Level 2, 3, 5, and 8 Celestigards in Immortal Phoenix.) Celestigards have unique powers, including different ways to Special Summon 3 of them at once. An Xyz theme needs an Xyz monster of its own! The Rank 5 Celestigard Star-Eclipsing Aetos Dios destroys all opposing monsters when Summoned. This card lets you draw 2 more cards from your Deck, if your opponent Synchro, Xyz, or Link Summons. Fuse, Chomp, Do It All!Look for more world premiere cards, from the downright practical to the just-gosh-darn-adorable! Fusion of Above and Below can only Fusion Summon the biggest monsters (Level 10+ or ATK 3000+), but if your opponent controls a monster, you can use a Level 10 monster in your Deck as material (and get it into the Graveyard where it might be more useful…). You can also banish this Spell Card from your Graveyard to replenish your Life Points. Chomplush chomp! This plush, pink panda is invincible while a Normal Monster is around, and revives Normal Monsters from your Graveyard to send your opponent’s cards back to their hand! Don’t forget to look for beautiful extended art Ultra Rares, and if you’re lucky enough, you may even discover a gorgeous extended art Starlight Rare! VRAINS21 New Cards for “Toon,” “Witchcrafter,” and “Unchained” Decks! Here’s something you didn’t see in Magnificent Monsters – 21 additional new cards, for 3 themes, inserted 1 per pack (see pack format section, below). For the gift-giving season, give whichever Deck is your favorite something new. Like more POWER!(Yes, the Toon addition means that Magnificent Maestros includes Blue-Eyes Ultimate Toon Dragon in addition to Kaiba’s Blue-Eyes related cards mentioned above. It’s the Blue-Eyes gift you always wanted for Christmas but never knew it. Until now.)That’s 39 new cards so far, but we’ve got more! There are also 10 additional new cards based off cards seen in the anime, including the very first “Dark Tuner” monsters from Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s! Plus Chaos End Ruler - Master of the Beginning and End, which was seen – but never played! – on Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL, and Hyper Rank-Up-Magic Ultimate Force.Once again, we’ve got a little something extra with 10 new ‘chibi’ variant art versions, including Lovely Labrynth of the Silver Castle, Fallen of Albaz, Incredible Ecclesia, the Virtuous, and Super Starslayer TY-PHON - Sky Crisis.Extended Art Versions of 24 Cards This Time!Magnificent Maestros has 6 more extended art cards than its predecessor. Like before, all 18 of the ‘reimagined’ anime cards have extended art versions, available in Ultra Rare or Starlight Rare. This is in addition to the standard, fully playable, Ultra Rare copies. These 18 extended art cards are all in the foil-wrapped packs (3 packs per box, just like before)But this time, there are also 6 extended art versions of popular older cards to go with the “Toon,” “Witchcrafter,” and “Unchained” cards. These 6 extended art cards will also come as Ultra Rare or Starlight Rare. Also, instead of going in the foil-wrapped packs, these 6 extended art cards can only show up in the 3 cellophane-wrapped cards that you get with every box. (see pack chart, further down)Serial-Numbered Grand Master Rare Cards are Back Again!Grand Master Rare Cards are a dazzling rarity with extended art and hieroglyphic borders.♦ ONLY the 18 ‘reimagined’ cards mentioned above will have Grand Master Rare versions. (The 6 additional extended art cards do NOT have Grand Master Rare versions.)♦ Grand Master Rare Cards are serial-numbered from 001 through 100.♦ Each of the 18 ‘reimagined’ cards will get 100 Grand Master Rare Cards. That’s 1800 Grand Master Rare Cards printed, 100 for each of the 18 cards.• There will be 100 per card for the Americas (North/Central/South, combined), and another 100 per card for all markets distributed from Europe (Europe, Oceania, Africa, Middle East). The latter will have an “E” at the end of the serial number.• All Grand Master Rare Cards will be in English, but can be found in French/German/Italian/Portuguese/Spanish packs, as well as English packs.♦ With so few cards spread across the entire print run, Grand Master Rare Cards will be EXTREMELY rare. Be careful when opening your packs!Foil Upgrades!Another 40 cards get foiled up for the first time. This time we’ve got some never-foiled Toons like Toon Barrel Dragon and Toon Buster Blader, Fairy Tail - Wiccat and Fairy Tail Ball, Fallen Paradise of the Sacred Beasts, Angelechy Problem and Angelechy Enlisted, and Yugi’s famous Makiu, the Magical Mist.Magnificent Maestros also includes foil upgrades that players have requested like Madolche Ticket, Neo the Magic Swordsman, The big SATURN, Despair from the Dark, Unifrog, Berserk Gorilla, Magical Scientist, and many more!Reruns of the Hottest Toons (and other cards)! Some of the older “Toon” cards have gotten hard to find lately, so we’re going heavy on “Toon” reruns for Magnificent Maestros’ reprints, including Toon Bookmark, Toon Black Luster Soldier, Toon Dark Magician, Red-Eyes Toon Dragon, and Toon Table of Contents. Plus other cards like Stellarnova Alpha. Keep in mind that with the “Toon,” “Witchcrafter,” and “Unchained” cards parked in Pool D this time (see below), there are only 20 cards in the reprint pool. How It’s All Put TogetherThat’s a lot to take in, so let’s go over the charts. The big difference this time is that the 6 new ‘boss monsters’ in Magnificent Monsters’ Pool 1 aren’t there anymore. Instead, we have 21 additional new cards to find a home for.The 21 new “Toon,” “Witchcrafter,” and “Unchained” cards go into Pool D, replacing half of the old reprint pool that used to be there.Pools A, B, C, and E are largely unchanged, although Pool A is only 18 cards this time, and Pool B is only new cards and ‘chibi’ variant art cards, with no additional non-‘chibi’ variant art.In the numbered Secret Rare pools, the new Pool D is moving in, so they’re mostly Pool B and Pool D, spread between Pools 1, 2, and 3. Additionally, the 6 reprint extended art cards will appear in Pool 1.Each box of Magnificent Maestros contains:• three (3) x 5-card packs• 3 Secret Rares with a chance to upgrade to Starlight Rare*Set contents and names are subject to change
