Using their best scare tactics, ghosts will haunt the costumed kiddos to steal their sweet sweet candy. But they have to be careful not to scare them away. Ghosts just want a candy delight, not to cause them a fright. This new edition expands upon the original version with more kids (100 total!), a new "junk" set of treats that you do not want to collect (like toothbrushes, rocks, ketchup packets, pennies, etc.) and new ghosts. Playing the game is easy. Select one of your ghost cards to bid for turn order. Then resolve by choosing a kid to haunt, taking their candy then using their unique ability. Palace Quest is the new cooperative adventure for 1–6 players from Emanuele Ornella (designer of Ronin) and Dirk Henn (designer of Alhambra). The Sultan has bestowed upon you the monumental task of constructing his dream palace, but his vision is exacting. You must work together as a team to assemble the perfect Alhambra. Palace Quest is played over 8 rounds. At the beginning, each player receives a stack of gems used to finance the construction of the buildings. Each round the role of the master builder changes, and this player decides which 3 buildings can be placed that round. Together, players may reveal 5 gem cards one after another — they decide whether to try their luck again and discard the previous card to draw a suitable one. If the team runs out of gem cards, they lose the game. In the first 3 rounds, the team builds the basic framework for the Alhambra. After that, each round one of the Sultan's wishes must be fulfilled — wishes range from the length of the outer wall to the number of buildings or their arrangement. Failing a wish can lead to losing the game. At the start of each game, the wishes and consequences are randomly redistributed, so no two games play the same. To make construction easier, players form neighborhoods of buildings of the same type, which earns action tiles that allow drawing additional cards, rotating building sites, or changing gem colors. Seeing all of the Sultan's wishes upfront and the consequences for failing creates a uniquely tense decision space — devise a master strategy, but pivot tactically when the cards aren't in your favor.

Basket Case: Horror at Hotel Broslin
Sneak a peek to find the freak! Mysterious picnic baskets have been delivered to the guests at the Hotel Broslin, and one of them hides a monster waiting to attack when his basket opens! The game is played over a series of rounds. Each round starts with the First Player, and play continues clockwise until every Player has had a turn. Each turn, a Player may play any cards from their hand, and perform up to two Actions. All of this may be done in any order, and players may take the same Action twice. Once Players have taken a turn, the round ends by having the First Player deal out a card face-up to each Player, starting with themselves and going clockwise around the table. Players each collect these cards into their hands, then a new round begins. During gameplay, players must try to avoid being in the same room as Belial (the monster) at the hotel. However, if they do happen to discover a Belial Basket on their turn, or even a Basket that grants rewards, keep calm. The contents inside of a basket are not revealed or activated unless a "Belial Attacks" card is revealed at the end of a round. If a Player is caught inside the same room as a Belial Basket when a "Belial Attacks" card is drawn, they'll gain a Belial token, which loses them 3 Cheeseburgers at the end of the game. Additionally, the Player who receives the "Belial Attacks" card must draw it into their hand, which loses them 1 Cheeseburger at the end of the game. The player who has the most Cheeseburgers after Belial has attacked 3 times wins the game.

You are head of a family in an Italian city-state, a city run by a weak and corrupt court. You need to manipulate, bluff and bribe your way to power. Your object is to destroy the influence of all the other families, forcing them into exile. Only one family will survive... In Coup, you want to be the last player with influence in the game, with influence being represented by face-down character cards in your playing area. Each player starts the game with two coins and two influence i.e., two face-down character cards; the fifteen card deck consists of three copies of five different characters, each with a unique set of powers: Duke: Take three coins from the treasury. Block someone from taking foreign aid. Assassin: Pay three coins and try to assassinate another player's character. Contessa: Block an assassination attempt against yourself. Captain: Take two coins from another player, or block someone from stealing coins from you. Ambassador: Draw two character cards from the Court (the deck), choose which (if any) to exchange with your face-down characters, then return two. Block someone from stealing coins from you. On your turn, you can take any of the actions listed above, regardless of which characters you actually have in front of you, or you can take one of three other actions: Income: Take one coin from the treasury. Foreign aid: Take two coins from the treasury. Coup: Pay seven coins and launch a coup against an opponent, forcing that player to lose an influence. (If you have ten coins or more, you must take this action.) When you take one of the character actions whether actively on your turn, or defensively in response to someone else's action that character's action automatically succeeds unless an opponent challenges you. In this case, if you can't (or don't) reveal the appropriate character, you lose an influence, turning one of your characters face-up. Face-up characters cannot be used, and if both of your characters are face-up, you're out of the game. If you do have the character in question and choose to reveal it, the opponent loses an influence, then you shuffle that character into the deck and draw a new one, perhaps getting the same character again and perhaps not. The last player to still have influence that is, a face-down character wins the game! A new & optional character called the Inquisitor has been added (currently, the only English edition with the Inquisitor included is the Kickstarter Version from Indie Boards & Cards. Copies in stores may not be the Kickstarter versions and may only be the base game). The Inquisitor character cards may be used to replace the Ambassador cards. Inquisitor: Draw one character card from the Court deck and choose whether or not to exchange it with one of your face-down characters. OR Force an opponent to show you one of their character cards (their choice which). If you wish it, you may then force them to draw a new card from the Court deck. They then shuffle the old card into the Court deck. Block someone from stealing coins from you.
