Announced at Gamers Guild Tempe
The votes are in, and Tempe has chosen its August Colors of the Realm winner.
Congratulations to Michael Z., whose Model #4, Tornus the Redeemed from Warhammer Age of Sigmar, was named the Most Popular entry in this month’s painting contest!
Colors of the Realm gives painters of every experience level a chance to choose a miniature, bring it to life, and share their work with the Gamers Guild community.
Thank you to everyone who entered this round, displayed their work in the store, and voted for a favorite.
Every completed miniature gave our community something new to stop and admire, and we cannot wait to see what our painters create next.
Have an unpainted miniature waiting for its moment, or an idea you have been looking for an excuse to try? The next Tempe Colors of the Realm contest begins in September.
Purchase and register your model between September 1 and September 15. You can begin painting as soon as your registration is complete.
September 1–15: Purchase and register your model
September 16–October 7: Submit your completed model
October 8–22: Judging and community voting
October 23–28: Winner announcement and the beginning of the next competition
Whether this will be your first fully painted miniature or the latest addition to a carefully shaded army, there is a place for your work in Colors of the Realm.
Register for the September 2026 Tempe Colors of the Realm contest.
