There are always two potential deals on the table. Watch for the deals that are in your wheelhouse, and be ready to go on \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003ethe offensive when the time is right. The player to the dealer’s left \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003estarts by playing a card from their hand face up on the table. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eContinuing with the player to the left, each player then also plays \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eone card face up. Players must “Follow fruit (suit)” if possible, \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003emeaning they must play a card of matching fruit type as the first \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003ecard played. If a player cannot follow fruit, they can play any card.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eAfter everyone has played a card, the winner of the trick is the \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eowner of the highest number card of the fruit that was led. The \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003ewinner takes all the cards from the middle of the table and places \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003ethem in a personal face-down pile nearby.
