It takes the central conceit of the adventure: a pair of adventurers, in years past, repel an invasion from a mysterious army, and in the aftermath settle down to found a keep in the wilderness, only to disappear at some point in the recent past, apparently meeting their end against their former foes.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis module, written for a party of 3-6 characters, levels 1-3, takes that idea and expands on it, refining the dungeon, adding a starting town and a hinted-at aboveground portion, and weaves the original one-shot adventure into the first part of an adventure path designed to take the characters from levels 1 to 10 or higher.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt is written and statted for Old School Essentials, Shadowdark, and Bree-YARC, but can be easily adapted to any similar old-school system.
